Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and smoothing concrete surfaces to ensure high-quality standards are met. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the creation of durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. The ideal applicant will have experience in concrete finishing and possess a range of complementary skills to support various aspects of construction work.

Duties

Prepare concrete surfaces by setting forms, aligning, and leveling as required Finish concrete by smoothing, trowelling, and applying textures using hand tools and power tools Install reinforcement materials such as mesh or rebar prior to pouring concrete Operate specialised equipment including power trowels and screeds to achieve desired finishes Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, and roofers to ensure project specifications are met Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely throughout the construction site Assist with site preparation and clean-up tasks as needed

Qualifications

Blue CSCS Concrete finishers card Valid UK Right to work Any other concrete / groundworks related experience or qualifications

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 20.00-23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
