Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join my clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, with the ability to work effectively in various environments. The location of the vacancy is Suffolk and the hourly rate will be 18ph this will be paid on a PAYE basis. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team that requires you to have a CSCS Blue Card. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare and clean surfaces prior to pouring concrete. Mix, pour, and spread concrete using appropriate techniques and tools. Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes. Ensure that all work meets quality standards and specifications. Perform heavy lifting as required during the concrete pouring and finishing processes. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including masons and carpenters, to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Operate machinery and equipment safely, including commercial vehicles when necessary.

Requirements

CSCS Blue Card (essentuial) Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry. Checkable refrences Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to concrete finishing. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience in welding, carpentry, roofing, masonry, or other related trades is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Valid commercial driving licence is an advantage but not essential. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
