Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Mixer HGV Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ready-mixed concrete to construction and domestic sites, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a concrete mixer HGV safely and efficiently. Deliver ready-mixed concrete to customers within designated areas. Ensure the accurate loading, unloading, and delivery of concrete in line with customer requirements. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure roadworthiness. Adhere to all road transport regulations and company health & safety policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and site personnel. Complete relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately. Perform minor maintenance tasks and report any vehicle issues promptly.
Key Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) License (Class 1 preferred but not essential). Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph Card. Previous experience driving concrete mixer trucks is highly desirable but not essential (training can be provided). Strong awareness of health & safety regulations within the construction industry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Flexibility to work additional hours as required. Ability to communicate professionally to internal and external clients
