Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Mixer Driver to join our team in Crewe. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ready-mixed concrete to customer sites, ensuring timely deliveries are made whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a concrete mixer HGV safely and efficiently.

- Deliver ready-mixed concrete to customers within designated areas.

- Ensure the accurate loading, unloading, and delivery of concrete in line with customer requirements.

- Carry out daily vehicle checks at the start and end of your shift.

- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure roadworthiness.

- Adhere to all road transport regulations and company health & safety policies.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and site personnel.

- Complete relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.

- Perform minor maintenance tasks and report any vehicle issues promptly.

Key Requirements:

- Valid HGV Class 2 Licence.

- Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph Card.

- ?Familiar with drivers hours.

- Previous experience driving concrete mixer trucks is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be given.

- Strong awareness of health & safety regulations within the construction industry.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Flexibility to work additional hours as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 14.00 per hour
