Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mixer driver to join our busy team in Horwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ready-mixed concrete to customer sites, ensuring timely deliveries are made whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate a concrete mixer HGV safely and efficiently Deliver ready-mixed concrete to customers within designated areas Ensure the accurate loading, unloading, and delivery of concrete in line with customer requirements Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly Carry out daily vehicle checks at the start and end of your shift Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to concrete delivery and vehicle operation is preferred

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license with a clean driving record. Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and digital tachograph card.
