We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mixer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and mixing various materials in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical knowledge and experience in operating heavy machinery, including excavators and commercial vehicles. The Mixer will play a vital part in supporting our production processes and maintaining smooth operations across the site.

Duties

Operate mixers and related equipment to prepare materials according to specified recipes and safety guidelines. Utilise excavators and other heavy machinery to handle raw materials and assist with site logistics. Drive commercial vehicles to transport materials between locations safely and efficiently. Monitor equipment performance, perform routine maintenance, and report any faults or issues promptly. Assist with the setup and breakdown of mixing stations, ensuring cleanliness and organisation. Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and meet production targets.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating excavators, mixers, or similar heavy machinery. Valid commercial driving licence. Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Prior experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is advantageous but not essential.
