Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the production of concrete products. Stripping and setting up moulds containing concrete products, operating machines to fill concrete moulds, palletising products to a high standard.

You will also be responsible for:

- Your safety, health, and wellbeing.

- The housekeeping of the concrete plant and all.

- The accuracy of your results.

- The legibility of your records.

- Effective communication of your results, findings and trends

PART ONE

- Key Accountabilities

1. In all aspects work with the company H&S guidelines and actively participate in any safety related activity. Maintain yourself in a manner that will enable you to complete your duties.

2. Maintain your work area in a clean, tidy and presentable manner at all times.

3. Ensure all products meet quality requirements and report any problems immediately.

4. Maximise production efficiency and stock control

PART TWO

- Detailed Accountabilities

1. H&S

Partake in risk assessment of your routine tasks.

Follow all highlighted procedures designed for your safety.

2. Housekeeping

Always keep the production areas neat and tidy,

3 Quality

While working to a defined programme, liaise with management to ensure correct mix requirements.

Complete all reports required in a timely manner.

Record all test results in the defined records. Ensure the records are legible, and readily retrievable up to the end of the agreed storage period.

4 Technical Support

Support manufacturing by completing additional tests as required and requested from the production team, particularly for support of trials.

Advise on the likely impact of your areas responsibility in any given productions issues.

Support the production team in achieving resolution of any final product, quality related production issues.

Visit customer sites to investigate/resolve technical issues or complaints.

5 Adhoc Duties

Any other duties, as demanded by the job role and as requested by your line manager as and when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.19 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

Day shift Monday to Friday
