We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Concrete Repair Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various concrete repair-related tasks on construction sites across the North of England, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety practices.

Responsibilities

Prepare and clean repairs mechanically. Mix, pour, and place repair mortars according to specifications Assist in setting up forms for concrete placement Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively Finish surfaces of repairs using hand tools. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly

Skills

Previous experience in concrete repair work or construction is advantageous Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Basic mathematical skills for measuring materials accurately

Pay: 14.00-18.38 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
