Kast is a design-led business based in Boughton, rural Nottinghamshire who are specialists in the design and manufacture of contemporary concrete products. Our concrete basins offer a diverse range of designs, each with a unique aesthetic that is integral to the character of the material.

Acquired by Kohler Company in 2023, this is an exciting time for the business and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various technical skills and have the ability to operate power tools ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the production processes.

Responsibilities

To train and learn all processes involved in the production of our basins. To include but not limited to casting, demoulding, grinding, washing, packaging, set up, CNC Conduct inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines. Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling materials and operating machinery. Document work completed via electronic production system and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors. To make suggestions for continual improvement of methods and processes. Respond to cover requirements at all stages of production as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in using power tools and hand tools effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Maintaining stock of materials and equipment within area of responsibility. Honest, reliable and resourceful.
