Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fully flexible and passionate about providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with what they need. Provide knowledgeable information about products. Process transactions accurately at the till and handle cash and card payments efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed attractively. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies as needed. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a passion for providing excellent service. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. A keen eye for detail and an organised approach to tasks.
