Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operation of meetings, events, and banqueting functions Lead, supervise, and support a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences Train and induct new and existing team members to maintain high service standards Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant working environment (Health & Safety & Hygiene legislation) Maintain and update departmental SOPs to ensure operational consistency Monitor departmental financial targets and manage cost control Produce accurate operational and financial reports Support smooth shift handovers and event transitions Consistently uphold Marriott brand standards and values

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a motivated, hands-on leader with a strong background in hospitality and events.

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar conference, banqueting, hospitality, or events role preferred

Skills & Attributes:

Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused Innovative mindset and attention to detail Strong team leadership skills - can work both independently and as part of a team

Education:

Good level of spoken and written English is essential
