As a Conference, Meeting and Events sales agent, you will maximise revenue opportunities by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. The role will interact frequently with guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, as a Conference, Meeting and Events sales agent you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
Pro-actively seek opportunities to increase sales and conversion
Manage an events diary to maximise yield
Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
Ensure all administration is completed, and deliver flawless execution of all planned events
Participate in hotel promotional activities (e.g. Wedding fair and open days)
Evening and weekend appointments upon client requests
Assist the operations department in the smooth running of weddings on the day itself.
