Overview of the role





Conference Production is central to our events team and you will be researching, producing, and delivering conference content across several brands including Professional Pensions, Professional Adviser and COVER.





Your role will involve extensive telephone and face-to-face research with industry contacts to develop conference topics and write cutting-edge conference programmes. The role holder will be involved in the recruitment and liaison of senior-level speakers, writing content-led marketing copy and effective project management of events from their inception to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with our sponsorship sales, editorial, marketing and logistics teams to ensure the commercial success of our conferences.





This is an ideal role for an ambitious graduate looking to progress in their career within an established and well-known company. You will be supported by an award-winning team in all aspects of your role.




Key Responsibilities




Keeping to set production timelines and project managing the events Developing industry relationships Telephone and face-to-face market research, but also desk-based research and attendance of external events Creating and writing marketing, sales and telesales briefs which explain your events to the wider team Copy writing and programme writing Proof reading Speaker research, acquisition, and management Managing the event's online content such as speaker biographies, photos, and program updates Attending and running the conference and on-site speaker management
