Lockheed Martin Strategic Systems is looking for a
Configuration Control Officer / Documentation Control Officer
to join our team at RNAD Coulport. This role benefits from a 4
day working week Monday - Thursday
.
A key element of this exciting role overall responsibility for the control of Equipment Configuration and SWS Documentation to meet US/UK external mandated requirements. This role will be a part of a small team who will report to the Documentation and Equipment Configuration Manager at RNAD Coulport.
The successful candidate will form an integral part of the LMUK SS team. As Configuration Control Officer, you will be responsible for all aspects of document control. Whilst you will have the support and guidance of the Documentation and Equipment Configuration Manager and wider LM leadership team, you will be expected to have a dynamic and assertive approach to managing your priorities to support the strong document control function at RNAD(C).
Duties / Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Coulport Documentation Control Group (DCG).
Ensure that the customer's equipment configuration requirements are maintained at all times.
Ensure that US/UK SWS documentation requirements are maintained at all times.
Ensure Weapon / Waterfront documentation is available to support depot processing and transfer operations to support key outputs.
Ensure local quality documentation is maintained and controlled at all times.
Support the Documentation and Equipment Configuration Manager in provision of a configuration management function at RNAD Coulport
Provide SME input to key stakeholders
Due to MoD requirements, you must be a UK sole national holding or capable of achieving the appropriate level (DV) of security clearance. More details can be found here
Required skills, qualifications and experience
Proven experience in Documentation Control / Documentation Management or a related role
Exceptional and proven attention to detail.
Flexibility, adaptability, and adeptness in handling changing priorities and multiple tasks.
A strong team player fostering effective working relationships across all levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High motivation and a strong work ethic.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
The ability to travel throughout the UK and potentially the US.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in administration control (SWS documentation & configuration control systems).
Familiarity with records management best practices and protocols.
Understanding of data privacy and HM Government security regulations.
Knowledge of document lifecycle management principles.
