Job Overview:

We are looking for a practical, hands-on individual to join our team as a Service Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who is technically minded and keen to learn a skilled trade in safety equipment servicing. You don't need previous experience--just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.

You'll receive full training and support to become competent in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing a wide range of safety equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the inspection, servicing, and repair of safety equipment, including gas monitors, tripods, winches, breathing apparatus, and harnesses Learn how to install and commission safety systems at customer sites Support the wider hire and service team with preparing and testing equipment before dispatch Keep accurate service records and complete paperwork in line with internal procedures Maintain a tidy and organised workspace and adhere to all health and safety procedures Represent Safety Mundo professionally when dealing with customers onsite or over the phone Attend training courses (internal and external) to gain relevant certifications and knowledge

What We're Looking For:

A genuine interest in engineering, technical work, or safety equipment Good communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn A proactive attitude with the ability to take instruction and show initiative Basic mechanical aptitude or experience using hand tools (preferred but not essential) A full UK driving licence (or willingness to work towards obtaining one)
