We are looking for a highly skilled Corporate Counsel or Senior Corporate Counsel, depending on level of experience, to handle a wide variety of contracts in the Connectivity space for our Ookla and Ekahau businesses. The position requires proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal contracts. The ideal candidate has strong negotiating skills, is highly organized, an independent worker and an enthusiastic learner who thrives in a dynamic team environment with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Independently drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including strategic partnership agreements, SaaS, SDK and embedded software agreements, EULAs, MSAs, distributor and reseller agreements for hardware and software, data licenses, data processing addenda, vendor agreements and marketing agreements.
  • Assisting with vendor registration requirements for new customers.
  • Assisting on other matters as required, such as matters relating to real estate, employment, export controls/sanctions, intellectual property, M&A, and privacy.
  • Supporting and contributing to Ziff Davis\xe2\x80\x99s day-to-day legal operations
  • Staying abreast of business and legal developments impacting the Connectivity industry
Requirements

  • U.K. licensed attorney
  • 3-5 years of experience as an attorney, with at least 2 years of experience working in-house, preferably in the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Experience with direct and frequent interaction with internal sales teams is preferred.
  • Excellent writing, oral communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume of matters and multiple priorities.
  • Faculty at developing strong relationships with business teams.
  • Capacity to give advice that effectively weighs the legal risks against the overall business objectives.
  • Experience working with a global company is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
