Construction Assurance Adviser

Location: UK-Based (Multi-site Projects)

We're looking for a knowledgeable and motivated

Construction Assurance Adviser

to join our team and help uphold the highest quality standards across a variety of water, wastewater and network infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Quality Manager and working closely with client assurance teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our construction activities are compliant, efficient and delivered to exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical quality assurance for construction, commissioning, and defect rectification across multiple projects. Liaise with internal operational teams and subcontractors to support submission approvals and project milestone progress. Support delivery through the design, build, and commissioning phases--ensuring zero downtime and monitoring SLAs and KPIs. Safeguard compliance with client asset standards and all relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Assist in the evaluation and appointment of subcontractors, reviewing their method statements and delivery approach. Promote best practices and provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on quality matters. Participate in technical design reviews and assess project quality concerns. Monitor and support component (FAT/SAT) and commissioning testing. Oversee project handover and manage post-completion defect resolution processes.

Experience & Skills Required:

Essential:

Solid experience in construction assurance, ideally within water, wastewater or utilities projects. Strong understanding of construction quality management and compliance. IT literate, with working knowledge of document control systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Desirable:

Chartered Engineer status or equivalent experience. Experience in utility sector delivery (water/wastewater is a bonus). Prior people or project management experience. Familiarity with technical and operational aspects of both above and below-ground infrastructure.

Pay: 45,880.00-55,989.78 per year
