About the Role
Our Infrastructure team has a growing need for Construction Cost Estimators / Cost Analysts to support our growth in the Energy sector helping our clients drive the Net Zero challenges successfully through effective project development and delivery.
Whilst our current priorities are focused on these sectors, G&T has a vast portfolio of clients including, but not limited to, Transportation (Rail, Highways, Aviation), Utilities, Communications and Healthcare sectors which can enable the right candidate to diversify experience across multiple sectors.
We are interested in hearing from candidates with proven experience of cost estimating and/or cost analysis for Construction projects relating to the Infrastructure sectors mentioned. Demonstrable experience in data analytics applied to the cost of construction projects will be the essential skill. Sector experience is transferable for those candidates with cost estimating experience in construction projects. A clear understanding of the wider Project Controls functions / services will be desirable as often GT also advises our clients in wider Governance and reporting initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and cost modelling, be forward thinking and hold experience of working within multidisciplinary teams.
This is a hands-on role and, although support will be available, the successful candidate is required to be self-motivated and to achieve deliverables and objectives with minimal supervision. Displaying a drive for innovation and continuous improvement and learning will be an essential part of this role.
