The Job Mission



This role is critical to the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC works on a flagship nuclear site.

You'll manage construction teams and contractors to achieve programme milestones.

The mission involves technical oversight, contractor management, and performance reporting.

? Lead day-to-day M&E works across multiple construction zones ? Manage contractors and ensure progress aligns with delivery schedules ? Supervise and support direct reports with guidance and performance oversight ? Monitor programme progress and mitigate risk proactively ? Drive high standards for safety, environment, and quality assurance ? Lead coordination meetings with site teams and stakeholders ? Support contractor mobilisation and site readiness reviews ? Produce clear weekly/monthly performance updates and reports

Qualifications

Essential Skills



Proven experience in mechanical and electrical construction delivery

Strong leadership and team supervision in complex environments

Proficient in site safety procedures and contractor coordination

Competent in progress reporting and risk mitigation

Holds a relevant engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical or Construction)

SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH site safety certification

Desired Skills



?? Experience in regulated or high-security infrastructure

?? Understanding of commissioning and handover stages

?? Familiar with digital construction and site reporting tools

?? Experience in nuclear or large energy sector projects

?? Basic French language skills
