The Job Mission
This is a site-based role supporting construction delivery within the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC (MEH) scope of works. You'll work alongside Construction Delivery Managers, ensuring safe, high-quality installation and progress within your assigned area. Relocation support may be available for those moving closer to Bridgwater.
Key Responsibilities:
? Coordinate daily construction activities within allocated work packages
Monitor contractor performance and report on progress and key milestones
Support the management of quality inspections, testing and handover processes
Maintain a visible presence on site to uphold safety standards and procedures
Collaborate with engineering, planning, and quality teams to resolve site issues
Contribute to planning, risk reviews, and schedule updates
Ensure all documentation and permits are up to date and compliant
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
HND, NVQ Level 4 or Degree in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience in construction coordination, supervision or site engineering
? Good understanding of installation sequencing and work package interfaces
? SMSTS or SSSTS certification (required)
Familiarity with QA, safety, and permit-to-work systems
Strong organisational skills and proactive communication on site
Awareness of CDM regulations and construction safety standards
