At PIB group, our PIB Risk Management team is keen to recruit an experienced Senior Principal CDM Designer
In this role you will:
Act as Principal Designer and CDM adviser to clients across a range of projects.
Guide clients, designers and project teams to ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and good practice.
Review design information, identify foreseeable health and safety risks and influence design decisions at an early stage.
Prepare, manage and maintain all CDM-related documentation, including F10 notifications and pre-construction information.
Undertake design risk reviews and structured assessments (e.g. SKET?type reviews) and provide clear, practical advice.
Review construction phase plans and RAMS, giving focused feedback to clients and contractors where improvements are required.
Carry out site-based health and safety inspections and audits, producing concise, actionable reports.
Coordinate and compile health and safety files and ensure they are issued in an accurate and timely manner at project completion.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge through CPD and relevant professional memberships.
Contribute to internal team meetings, workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions, supporting the development of colleagues.
