A leading UK residential developer is seeking a strategic Construction Director to join its senior leadership team. This is a high-impact role with the chance to shape nationwide projects across build-to-rent, co-living, and student accommodation sectors. Candidates can reside anywhere in the UK, but must be prepared to travel to projects across the country as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Drive operational excellence and proactive problem-solving across sites.
- Mentor and develop construction teams while fostering strong stakeholder and subcontractor relationships.
- Contribute to strategic planning and team performance initiatives.
- Experienced hands-on leader in construction delivery, ideally across varied project types.
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
- Passionate about quality, innovation, and team development.
- (Desirable) Experience in student accommodation or build-to-rent projects.
