Job Overview

Hillard Construction a division of the AH Warren Trust Group, require a skilled general labourer to join the team on a full-time and permanent basis.

Hillard Construction are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance as well as planning and constructing of all the residential, commercial and agricultural buildings across the estate's portfolio.

Job Duties will include:

Delivering materials, equipment etc. to various sites in company transit tipper Loading/unloading construction materials General maintenance of construction tools, equipment, and vehicles Preparing and cleaning up job sites Assisting other specialised contractors when necessary Being ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary

Job Skills & Attributes required:

The ability to closely follow written and spoken instructions Be able to work as part of a small team and independently in varied roles Have a can-do attitude and be punctual and reliable Familiar with general building works, materials, and practices Familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures Be able to carry out strenuous physical tasks The ability to be able to work in all weather conditions Ability to drive a telehandler / forklift preferred, although training can be given to the right candidate A full valid UK driving licence

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday - 42.5 hours per week, occasional weekend work and overtime may be required Pay commensurate with previous experience, in range of 12.21 - 15.00 per hour 31 days holiday (increasing to 33 days after 3 years continuous service) Enrolment onto our company pension scheme on completion of 3 months probation
