Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction and maintenance of buildings and structures. Perform general site clean-up and organisation to ensure a safe working environment. Load and unload materials and equipment from lorries. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Assist in the erection of scaffolding, hoardings, and other temporary structures as required. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to construction practices.
Experience
Previous experience is required Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is preferred. A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role. Candidates must be physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks effectively.
