We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our Edinburgh team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties
Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring the area is safe and organised.
Carry out manual tasks such as lifting, loading, and unloading materials.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools as directed by supervisors.
Follow instructions from site managers and skilled tradespeople to ensure tasks are completed accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist with the assembly of scaffolding, forms, or other structures as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on-site.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
A valid CSCS card
