Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties. Perform general site clean-up and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment. Load and unload materials and equipment from lorries and transport them to designated areas on site. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks on the construction site. Support the installation of structures, frameworks, and fixtures as directed by supervisors. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor promptly.

Skills

Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively within a team. Basic knowledge of construction practices is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is preferred. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and supervisors. A proactive attitude towards health and safety regulations on site.
