About the Role

Strive Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Construction Lead Tutor to lead our team of construction tutors and shape the learning experience for our pupils. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking educational environment.

You'll be responsible for setting high standards, coaching and developing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging construction education. You'll work closely with curriculum leads, support workers, and leadership to create a safe and thriving learning space for all students.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of construction tutors, fostering a culture of excellence.o Establish best practices and support tutors in delivering outstanding pupil outcomes.o Track and monitor pupil progress, ensuring accurate records and feedback.o Collaborate with teachers to support pupil attainment and action planning.o Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development.o Support safeguarding, behaviour management, and individual pupil adaptations.o Promote and uphold the Academy's Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety policies.o Participate in performance management and staff development schemes.o Ensure safeguarding is a top priority, reporting concerns in line with policy.
Who we're looking for

Essential:

Teaching qualification (AET3, QTS, QTLS)o Experience in a school or college settingo Excellent written and spoken Englisho Experience of team managemento Assessor qualificationo Experience working with SEND
