The Job Mission
As Construction Logistics Lead, you will ensure materials and equipment flow seamlessly through site operations.
You will be integral to safe, on-time and efficient project delivery at Hinkley Point C.
Your mission is to lead logistics coordination, safety and space planning at the heart of a world-class site.
? Lead day-to-day logistics operations for a designated construction area
? Liaise with site teams, delivery partners and suppliers to avoid delays
? Track material deliveries and proactively manage scheduling risks
? Oversee delivery area and storage space planning for smooth operations
? Maintain accurate records and logistics reporting in line with KPIs
? Coach and guide team members and subcontractors in logistics best practice
? Ensure strict compliance with health and safety rules and site protocols
? Support operational improvements through team meetings and planning sessions
Qualifications
Essential Skills
Minimum 5 years' experience leading logistics teams in regulated industries
Background in construction logistics or major infrastructure supply chain
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional team leadership
Skilled in logistics planning, delivery management and schedule integration
Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities under pressure
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Working knowledge of project planning and logistics software
Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and logistics best practice
Desired Skills
?? Degree in engineering, logistics or supply chain management
?? Experience in the nuclear or large-scale energy construction sectors
?? Knowledge of digital logistics tools and delivery tracking systems
?? Familiarity with UK regulatory standards in construction logistics
?? Logistics-specific training or qualifications (e.g., MILT or similar)
