Job Title: Construction Manager - Utilities Projects
Duration: Long-Term Contract (Full-Time, Onsite 5 Days per Week)
Clearance: DV preferred / SC acceptable with willingness to upgrade
? Location: Aldermaston, near Reading
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Manager to support major utility infrastructure upgrade projects at a high-security facility near Aldermaston. This role offers the chance to work on challenging civil engineering projects in a regulated environment, driving safe and successful delivery from design through to completion.
What You'll Do

Lead and champion a strong safety culture on-site.
Manage and co-ordinate supply chain contractors to ensure programme delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders - client, designer, engineering, and commercial teams.
Prepare pre-construction information and subcontractor scopes.
Oversee construction sequencing and site activities.
Manage interfaces with ongoing operations and wider delivery teams.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, right first time.

What We're Looking For

Extensive experience delivering civil engineering projects, ideally in regulated environments.
Strong background in utility projects - water sector experience is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations, H&S legislation, and NEC contracts.
Holder of a black CSCS card (civil engineering preferred).
CITB SMSTS (or equivalent) preferred.
Extra beneficial skills: Lifting AP / TWC.

Security Requirements
DV clearance preferred, or SC with eligibility and willingness to upgrade.
Must be a UK Citizen with 10 years continuous residency in the UK.
