Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Manager to oversee building projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. A strong background in electrical experience is preferred to facilitate effective collaboration with specialised trades and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.

Duties

Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines Manage and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain smooth workflow Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed on-site Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and resolve any issues promptly Control project budgets, track expenses, and manage procurement processes Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication Implement electrical systems in collaboration with specialised trades when required Ensure compliance with legal requirements and building codes throughout all phases of construction

Requirements

Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role within the construction industry Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate diverse teams effectively Sound knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes Electrical experience is highly desirable to support technical aspects of projects Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately Valid relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields A proactive approach with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
