Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Manager to oversee building projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. A strong background in electrical experience is preferred, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet deadlines and financial targets Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth communication and project progression Oversee procurement of materials and equipment necessary for construction phases Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with health and safety regulations Resolve any issues or delays promptly to minimise impact on project timelines Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, changes, and inspections Lead and motivate construction teams, providing clear direction and support to ensure high performance

Experience

Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role within the construction industry Demonstrable knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards Electrical experience is highly desirable to effectively oversee electrical installations and coordinate with specialised tradespeople Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders effectively Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks under tight deadlines Proficiency in project management software and relevant technical tools
