The Role



We are seeking an experienced

Construction Manager

to join our team.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Coordinate all office-based project preparation with Pre-Construction, ensuring design, programme, procurement, and compliance are aligned ahead of site mobilisation Prepare and maintain key documentation: Risk Assessments, RAMS, COSHH, CPP, and toolbox talks. Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes (e.g. Gantt charts) for all live projects. Coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs) and resolve technical or planning queries pre-delivery. Liaise with design teams to align drawings with site conditions, budget, and delivery timelines. Ensure all project documentation complies with HSE, CDM 2015, fire safety, and building regulations. Oversee site logistics plans, access strategies, and manage necessary approvals for temporary works requirements. Maintain records for all construction documentation, approvals, variations, and site instructions. Monitor and report on construction KPIs including cost performance, schedule adherence, health & safety compliance, and quality benchmarks Liaise between site teams and senior management, ensuring clear and timely communication. Coordinate resolution of design and installations queries from site and monitor quality standards through project phases. Liaise with project and site teams to ensure timely completion of surveys, site assessments, and mobilisation planning.

Essential Skills:



Minimum 3-5 years' experience in construction management, ideally within energy or commercial projects Strong knowledge of construction health & safety and documentation requirements, IOSH or NEBOSH or equivalent higher level of H&S accreditation Proven ability to manage multiple construction programmes concurrently Good understanding of CDM 2015, and construction site set-up protocols Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling tools A degree in relevant field is desirable

Must be legally entitled to work in the UK and/or EU and be fluent in English.

Flexibility to travel to project sites in for onsite inspections when required.
