We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and final delivery.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
Supervise on-site construction activities and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimise project outcomes.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to timelines.
Foster strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Familiarity with Listed buildings is desirable.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
