Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Select and mix paints to achieve desired colours and finishes. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and exteriors. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to safety regulations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any maintenance needs. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project requirements and timelines. Drive to various job sites as required.

Experience

Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. A valid driving licence is desirable for travel to different job locations. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
