We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting components, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our production processes and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Duties
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine assembly requirements.
Assemble and fit components using a variety of tools and equipment.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Document work processes and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or components.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A relevant qualification in engineering or manufacturing would be advantageous but not essential.
