Spirit Level Services Ltd is currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Construction Projects & Contracts Manager.

Working for a successful company, renowned for its quality of work and service, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects, sites, staff, materials and sub-contractors. You will ensure customers are completely satisfied with all aspects of our work, and that projects are delivered on time and on budget. You will be involved in procurement, programming and client liaison. You should be self-motivated, well-organised and well-presented.

Summary



We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Spirit Level Services Ltd. In this role, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate



Experienced in all types of domestic construction, conversion, renovation and refurbishment, some commercial construction experience would be a bonus.

A good working knowledge of current health & safety requirements, with experience of generating RAMS.

A strong communicator and leader, able to build, develop and maintain healthy client relationships.

A service-driven team player, ensuring delivery of projects accompanied by an exceptional customer experience.

Great people management skills with the ability to provide direction, motivation and encouragement to others.

Results-orientated, with the ability to demonstrate commercial awareness in all areas and clear financial understanding of contracts.

IT and computer literate, ideally with experience of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Commendable time-management, planning skills, resource assignment and an ability to quickly adapt to a fast-changing schedule.

Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities



Plan and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Manage project teams and subcontractors to ensure effective collaboration and communication. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations. Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and challenges. Develop project schedules using appropriate software tools to track progress. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in Civil 3D or similar project management software is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Location: Pevensey and Eastbourne area, with some travel around East Sussex.

Salary: 40,000-50,000 depending on experience.
