Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes.

Duties

Plan and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion. Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality and compliance with safety regulations. Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders detailing progress, challenges, and solutions. Manage procurement of materials and equipment required for construction activities. Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 for scheduling and resource management. Familiarity with Civil 3D for design and drafting purposes is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members, clients, and subcontractors. Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the construction process.
