We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse construction initiatives, utilise advanced project management tools, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality installations.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans and programmes.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
Monitor progress throughout the construction phase, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to maintain deadlines.
Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and equipment in line with project specifications.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
Manage project budgets, material orders and delivery dates.
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration across all levels.
Prepare comprehensive progress reports and present updates to senior management and clients.
Ensure all project activities comply with legal requirements, health & safety regulations, and organisational policies.
Experience
Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
Familiarity construction drawings and design review based on site layout planning.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and team members.
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management are preferred but not essential if accompanied by substantial practical experience.
