Elite Renewables is a leading installer of heat pumps, solar PV systems, MVHR and other renewable energy solutions across London and the South East for both domestic and commercial clients.

The Role



We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to be responsible for the full lifecycle management of the company's commercial and high-value domestic renewable energy products, from initial planning through to successful completion and closeout. This is a hands-on role where you'll drive project delivery excellence and profitability while helping to establish best practices across our entire project portfolio.

The role includes providing strategic oversight to the Supply Chain Manager to enhance procurement processes and strengthen supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities



FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND PROJECT DELIVERY:

Lead complex commercial and high-value domestic heat pump, MVHR, and solar PV installation projects from tender to final account. Create and meticulously maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, proactively identifying critical paths and mitigating risks. Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing as planned and that our high standards for quality and safety are consistently maintained. Manage project budgets effectively, tracking costs against projections and ensuring profitability targets are met.
PROCESS AND STRATEGIC IMPROVEMENT

Develop and implement standardised project management processes and tools to improve efficiency and consistency across all projects. Provide leadership and oversight to the Supply Chain Manager to refine purchasing strategies, improve material lead times, and enhance supplier performance. Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned, driving a culture of continuous improvement within the delivery team. Monitor and report on key performance indicators including project profitability, programme adherence, resource utilisation, and client satisfaction. Oversee the implementation of project plans, management of change (MOC) and provide mid-course corrections as needed. Assist the SMT in the development of processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of timely and high-quality products and services. Provide strategic oversight to supply chain to enhance procurement capabilities and strengthen supplier relations.
HUMAN RESOURCES AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT/LEADERSHIP

Coordinate effectively with internal teams (Design, Engineering, Installation) and external stakeholders (Clients, Architects, Builders, Subcontractors). Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships through clear communication and expectation management. Manage resource allocation, in collaboration with other managers, to optimise team utilisation and ensure projects are staffed for success. Provide input and guidance to Senior Management Staff. Maintain oversight of recruitment, hiring, compensation and performance management (including performance review processes). Ensure regulatory oversight and legal compliance at all times. Be a Mentor; be visible and approachable and act as a sounding board to the SMT.
OPERATIONS

Oversee risk management and legal compliance activities. Provide a strong day-to-day leadership presence. Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping stakeholders informed of all critical issues. Always provide effective and inspiring operational leadership. Ensure gold standard HSE performance.

Requirements



Have at least 10 years of experience as a Senior Manager. Degree qualified in construction management preferable. Professional registration (s): M/FRICS / M/FCIOB / CMgr M/FCMI / ACA / APM / CM/FIOSH Be able to demonstrate Continued Professional Development (CPD).

This is an in-person role based at our office in Croydon, with regular travel to project sites across London and the South East required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 50,000.00-70,000.00 per year
