The Role:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee projects from conception to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will coordinate teams, manage resources, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
l Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects, including new builds, extensions, and refurbishments.
l Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company goals.
l Lead and motivate on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones.
l Monitor project progress, track costs, and implement corrective actions to address risks or delays.
l Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
l Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to maintain clear communication and resolve issues.
l Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
l Conduct site inspections and quality checks to uphold workmanship standards.
l Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
Essential Requirements?
1.
Language:
Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is essential.
2.
Experience:
At least 2 years of professional experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of managing residential or commercial projects.
3.
Qualifications:
Education background in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience (e.g., 2+ years in a senior site management role) will also be considered.
4.
Skills:
l Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and UK building regulations.
l Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD) and budgeting tools.
l Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
l Knowledge of sustainable building practices is desirable
