We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring adherence to safety standards and client specifications. Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation using Primavera P6.
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
Monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets.
Oversee procurement processes and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all stages of construction.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and resolve any issues promptly.
Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders.
Utilise Civil 3D for planning and design review purposes where applicable.
Manage project documentation efficiently and maintain accurate records of all activities.
Skills
Proven experience in construction project management with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and project planning
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a collaborative working environment.
Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to resolving issues on-site or within project plans.
