Artifex Homes is a construction company based in Welwyn Garden City. We complete all residential new builds, extensions, renovations and conversions all over Hertfordshire.

We are looking for the right candidate to join the business as a project manager.

Responsibilities

This role involves overseeing the projects, supporting and helping the team where needed. Having good communication skills is essential with both clients and sub-contractors. You will be responsible for co-ordinating labour, materials and other resources on site. You must be confident in working of plans and ensure that all details are correct and adhered to. Have an understanding of the programme of works and ensure that all trades on site are well organised and directed. Take responsibility for Health & Safety on site.

Qualifications needed

5+ years of experience of being a served tradesman in residential construction. 2+ years experience of site management.

Must have:

Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry. Experience of having a trade background. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with diverse teams. A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Must have your own tools Must have a clean driving licence
This is a self employed position and pay will depend on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
