We are seeking a proactive, highly Organised individual to join our dedicated sales team as a Senior Sales Administrator / Account Manager. This is a permanent, pivotal role combining critical administrative accuracy with direct responsibility for customer relationship management and business growth.

The Role: Key Responsibilities

This position balances internal administration with external customer development, making you a crucial link between our products, logistics, and clients.

Account Ownership: Proactively manage and develop specific, established customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. New Business Development: Support the expansion of our customer base by diligently following up on leads and driving new business initiatives. Order Processing Master: Take ownership of the sales order pipeline, accurately processing requests received via telephone, email, and our online ordering systems. Customer Relations: Serve as a dedicated point of contact, ensuring established customers receive timely, accurate information and exceptional service.
Candidate Profile: Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will be commercially aware and possess the administrative rigour required to manage a busy sales desk efficiently.

Experience: Ideally, you will bring 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar administrative or sales-support role. While industry experience is beneficial, we are focused on finding the right person with the core skills to thrive in our unique environment. Initiative & Teamwork: Proven ability to work on your own initiative while seamlessly integrating into the wider sales team structure. Technical Acumen: High degree of computer literacy, particularly proficiency with Microsoft Excel for reporting and data management. Accuracy & Organisation: Excellent numeracy skills combined with a highly organised approach, allowing you to accurately process orders and prioritise tasks effectively in a demanding, busy environment.

Senior Sales Administrator /Account Manager - Construction Supplies



Job description



KPT Solutions are a well- established family- owned business located in our own premises in Dartford - we have been selling a wide range of building materials and providing a tool and plant hire service to the construction industry for over 30 years.



We have a current vacancy for a permanent member of staff to join our busy sales team as a senior sales administrator/account manager.



The suitable candidate will ideally have 3/5 years' experience in a similar role - industry experience would be beneficial but not essential as we are looking for the right person with the right skill set to grow within our own organisation.



Initial responsibilities and tasks will include the following -



Dealing with established customers



Processing sales orders on email, telephone and on- line ordering



Taking responsibility for specific customer accounts



Expanding our customer base by developing new business



Skills we are looking for include the following -



The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.



Computer literacy including a knowledge of using Excel.



Good numeracy skills.



Well organised with an ability to prioritise tasks.



Ability to work in a busy environment with accuracy.
