Construction Site Manager

A Guildford based developer looking for a young energetic site manager with experience of new build residential development.

The applicant will join a small, experienced team with ambition and resources to grow. Initially the applicant will be required to oversee the construction of a small site of 6 new homes in the Guildford area.

This site will run alongside several other projects currently underway; the successful applicant will work in conjunction and ultimately be responsible to our construction manager.

Over the next 12 months we will commence work on several new sites, allowing the successful individual to take a larger role as the company grows and to benefit from the rewards achieved.

Experience of working on similar projects is essential, specifically in bricklaying and carpentry.

Initial daily duties will include:

Managing the construction of a small development site. Carrying out daily recordings of site personnel and works completed. Assessing ongoing works for accuracy and quality. Managing the programme. Strong organisation and ability to control sub-contractors. Take off & release materials for delivery. Working from drawings. Understanding of bricklaying and carpentry skills. Control of high standard finish by all trades. Health & safety awareness & management.

Candidates must have excellent organisational skills and be comfortable on and around building sites.

Salary: 35,000 - 55,000 per year (dependent on experience) + car allowance + company phone + bonus
