Fulltime role (Monday to Friday)

We are a highly respected, well-established building and construction group, based in London SW13. We undertake residential refurbishment and construction projects - with a particular emphasis on high-end residential refurbishment work - mainly in SW and West London. We are looking for a well-organised, conscientious and proactive individual, to provide a reliable supplies and facilities service to our various construction sites.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

Ensuring the provision and delivery to our sites of appropriate stocks of site supplies, including items relating to aspects of site welfare and health & safety. This involves making regular collections from builders' merchants, supply shops, our offsite storage facility etc., and delivering supplies to our various domestic building sites; Helping to maintain our sites to ensure they meet our standards and appropriately represent the company. This includes, but is not limited to, checking site hoardings are intact and in good condition; maintaining site / workshop storage facilities; checking and maintaining site equipment / machinery in good condition and flagging up any issues or concerns; Coordinating and organising deliveries to and from our joinery workshop in Twickenham; Helping set up and maintain an accurate ongoing register of where larger items of equipment are located - including ladders, plant and machinery; Maintaining our in-house stocks of plant / equipment in good working order; Assisting with general labouring duties at our various sites as needed.
The role requires:

A full, UK Driving Licence Some working knowledge or familiarity with building materials (for ordering / collecting supplies) Ideally some working knowledge or familiarity with general construction trades, e.g. joinery, masonry, plumbing, or electrics etc. Good communication skills, as the role involves communicating with our clients, colleagues and suppliers. The role is a public-facing role involving driving a sign-written van which promotes our firm in the local area; The ability to plan and organise time efficiently - for example, scheduling trips to / from site and suppliers in such a way as to make good use of time and resources.
