Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students of various ages and abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with a particular focus on fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student, including those with special educational requirements.

Duties

Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the specific needs of students. Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials that align with the curriculum and learning objectives. Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and confidence. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance. Stay updated on best practices in education and tutoring techniques.

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally with children or young adults. Familiarity with special education practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and engage students. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in various learning situations. A background in education or a related field is preferred but not essential for the right candidate with relevant skills.
