We have recently opened a second site in central Manchester and as such, we're looking for construction tutors to join our growing team.

What's the role?



As a tutor you'll ensure that you create a safe and inspiring learning environment, that allows the pupils to fulfil their potential. Delivering challenging and engaging construction lessons, aligned to the curriculum that meet the needs of the pupils and the DfE.

What will I be doing?



? Working with the subject leads and other tutors to ensure that the overall teaching approach is well aligned to the curriculum learning objectives and the needs the pupils.

? Deliver the curriculum via high-quality lessons and delivery.

? Plan and teach well-structured lessons, adapting materials to pupils as needed, ensuring that the opportunity in each learning session is maximised.

? Accurately track and monitor pupils' progress, to ensure that high-quality records are kept and that relevant feedback can be given about the pupil to key stakeholders such as parents and schools.

? Work alongside subject leads to assist in the assessment of pupils' work, providing feedback for future development and attainment to challenge pupils and maximise results.

? Work with the curriculum lead and support workers to provide pupils with the support they need to feel safe and thrive in the environment. Supporting and advising on safeguarding, behavioural management and any adaptations needed for individual pupils.

? Work as part of the subject team, to deliver the best possible outcomes for pupils.

What are you looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have a background in education, ideally as a qualified or experienced tutor or teacher (AET3).

You'll have familiarity with the curriculum in the area of construction having previously taught similar or have had hands on experience in the construction industry within your career.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 28,000.00 per year
