Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Construction Tutor to provide deliver various training programs to students across various age groups and subjects. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering academic growth, confidence, and a love for learning. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys through engaging and tailored instruction.

Duties



To ensure all learners maximise their potential and achieve their learning targets. Be responsible for the student learning outcomes including student progress, achievement, and success. To teach and assess learning on a range of programmes to meet the requirements of the Education Inspection Framework. Undertake duties in line with the Quality Management System (QMS), including Internal Verification/IQA. Track learner progress through standardised company systems. To ensure that learners receive a full induction, and it is recorded. To plan, develop and maintain schemes of work and lesson plans and course materials. To liaise with relevant Departments/Colleges/Partners to meet the support needs of students, including additional learning support and Maths and English. Contribute effectively to NC's development and success, in accordance with company objectives, policies and procedures. Working within the Quality Assurance System. To meet the awarding organisation requirements for assessment To ensure timely completion of all the appropriate training records for learners. To provide timely assessment and feedback to all learners To ensure all learners achieve their planned programme within their allocated time through effective programme management. Be responsible for the health and safety of students, ensuring that clear instructions are given in order to provide a safe learning environment. Take part in CPD and industrial updating as requested and to meet contractual requirements. Any other duties as may be requested by your line manager.

Qualifications



Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Level 3 teaching qualification or equivalent Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently Passion for education and supporting student success Organised, reliable, and able to adapt teaching approaches to diverse learning styles Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or subject-specific areas are advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: 24,420.00-30,000.00 per year
