The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Part-Time Tutor with expertise in Building Services Engineering to deliver engaging and supportive teaching sessions to apprenticeship and distance learner cohorts at Levels 3-5.

This role will focus on providing subject expertise in electrical and/or mechanical building services disciplines.

Delivery materials, schemes of work, and assessment briefs are provided. The primary requirement is to bring real-world experience and clarity in explaining technical concepts to apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

? Deliver scheduled teaching sessions (daytime and/or evening) to apprentices in

Building Services Engineering.

? Use Skills4Stem's provided delivery materials to facilitate engaging and inclusive

learning.

? Provide guidance, feedback and support to learners in completing assignments and

meeting apprenticeship requirements.

? Maintain accurate records of attendance, learner progress, and assessment

feedback in line with provider requirements.

? Work collaboratively with the Delivery Manager and wider team to ensure effective

learning outcomes.

? Uphold Skills4Stem policies including safeguarding, Prevent, equality & diversity, and health & safety.

Experience & Skills Required:

Essential:

? Industry experience in electrical and/or mechanical building services

engineering.

? Strong technical knowledge and ability to explain concepts to learners of mixed

ability.

? Good communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

? Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience (formal teaching qualifications

not essential).

? Knowledge of apprenticeships, BTEC/HNC/HND delivery, or End Point Assessment

processes.

? Familiarity with online delivery platforms (e.g., Teams/Zoom).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 38,000.00-40,000.00 per year
