Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

This is more than a project leadership role - it's a chance to build something new and globally significant.

As Consultancy Lead, you'll lead the delivery of the GEOSA project in Saudi Arabia, a landmark initiative that will shape the future of the surveying and geospatial professions in the region.

Working in partnership with the General Authority of Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA), RICS is leading the development of a new regulatory framework and accreditation process that aligns with international best practices and supports long-term professional growth.

But that's just the beginning. This role is also your opportunity to lay the foundations for a new consultancy service line at RICS, designing scalable models, building a global pipeline, and positioning RICS as a trusted advisor in international markets.

You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders, influence strategy and help drive commercial growth in a way that aligns with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the GEOSA project P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking

- Establish governance, quality and operational frameworks for a new consultancy function

- Build and manage a pipeline of high value consultancy projects, including public tenders and procurement portals

- Develop compelling proposals and bids, working closely with Strategic Partnerships, Market Development and Sales teams.

- Define pricing models, margin targets and commercial strategies for sustainable growth

- Use market insights, client feedback and financial data to refine offerings and prioritise high impact initiatives

- Ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction to support long-term relationships.

About You

You're a strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and a passion for delivering meaningful impact. You enjoy building something new, thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident working across cultures and with senior stakeholders. You bring a collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to make things happen.

We think you'll excel in this role if you:

- Have experience leading complex consultancy or advisory projects with financial accountability

- Enjoy building strong relationships and engaging with clients and partners at all levels

- Know how to develop winning proposals and navigate public sector tendering processes

- Understand how to price, forecast and deliver profitable growth

- Are comfortable working internationally and across diverse teams

- Communicate clearly and confidently both in writing and in person

- Are proactive, adaptable and focused on delivering results

- Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable due to the nature of the GEOSA project and stakeholder engagement in the MENA region
